Blood tests

Blood tests help you understand levels of relevant markers in your blood. They work from a laboratory-analysed sample of your blood, collected from a finger-prick.

Depending on your test, we will ask you to collect one or two small test tubes of blood. In-pack and online instructions can help you activate your account, collect your sample quickly and easily before sending it to our laboratory. Some people find collecting enough blood a little tricky, please take time to read the advice to get the best sample as easily as possibly.

Once we have received your sample, we’ll process it and you’ll receive your results in seven to 10 days via your secure MyHealthChecked account. Your individual report will show your blood marker levels, relevant to the healthcare area tested. Your results will show how the levels of each marker can influence your health and what you can do optimise your health and/or minimise any risks related to your results.

We also offer a range of sexual health blood tests, for these we will ask for a urine sample in addition to the blood sample. Everything you need, along with advice and instructions, will be included in your test kit.
