Who is this test for?

This test is suited to any adults who would like to know if they may have a thyroid disorder. It will give an accurate indication of how your thyroid is functioning and whether it might be the cause of any symptoms you may be experiencing.

What you will discover

Thyroid disorders, such as hypothyroidism (under active thyroid) and hyperthyroidism (overactive thyroid), can have significant impacts on your health and well being.

Hypothyroidism occurs when the thyroid gland does not produce enough hormones and can cause fatigue, hair loss, muscle weakness, weight gain and sensitivity to the cold. This condition is more common in adults over 50 and affects more women than men. If left untreated, hypothyroidism can lead to complications including heart disease pregnancy complications or a swelling in the throat.

Hyperthyroidism occurs when the thyroid gland produces too many hormones and can cause anxiety, weight loss, hyperactivity, tremor, heat sensitivity or a swelling in the throat. If left untreated, hyperthyroidism can lead to eye problems, pregnancy complications, or a thyroid storm.

Take our thyroid test to identify any potential thyroid problems and take control of your health.

What our customers say

Sarah

This kit was really easy to use and included everything I needed to do the test and send it off in the post. Plenty of clear instructions to do the finger prick test and tips how to increase the blood flow. I found holding my hand down low really increased the flow. I received the results and the doctors report back really quickly, as well as clear email updates when they received it at the lab and were processing the test. A great service and would highly recommend.

I thought this product was great. Hypothyroidism runs in my family but getting a GP appointment is quite hard at the moment so this test was ideal. My thyroid test came back perfectly normal so I feel really reassured and didn’t have to bother my GP.
