Who is this test for?
This test is suited to any adults who would like to know how if they have high or low cholesterol.
What you will discover
High cholesterol is when you have too much of this fatty substance known as cholesterol in your blood. This increases the risk of your blood vessels becoming blocked, which can cause heart problems or a stroke.
The condition can run in families but is mainly caused by eating food that is high in saturated fats, not exercising enough, being overweight, smoking and drinking too much alcohol.
There are no symptoms attached to high cholesterol so without getting a blood test, it can be difficult to know whether our cholesterol levels are too high.
It will also indicate if your cholesterol levels are too low, although this is very rare.
What's analysed in this test?
HDL Cholesterol, LDL Cholesterol, Total Cholesterol, Triglycerides

The kit has been produced by medical experts to give you an indication of your general health. However, this kit alone is not suitable for diagnosis and is not a substitute for consultation with a healthcare professional. You should always seek advice from your doctor before starting any treatment.
