Handling samples in hot weather

With the forecast predicting unusually high temperatures this week 🌡️, we want to ensure that your samples reach us in the best possible condition.

If your area is experiencing temperatures of 30°C or higher, we recommend delaying the collection and posting of your sample. Extreme heat can potentially compromise the quality of the sample during transit, affecting our ability to provide accurate analysis.

Once the weather cools down, please go ahead and send your sample to us.

If sending your sample during a hot spell is unavoidable, we recommend posting closer to the collection time. This will help to reduce the time it spends in a potentially hot environment.

For your convenience, you can view collection times for your nearest Royal Mail postbox here.
