Essentials and accreditations

MyHealthChecked uses an accredited CE-IVD PCR test.

Our tests are always best-in-class – for example, Clarigene®️ is a Molecular PCR Test – the only kind approved by the MHRA.

Our testing kits are classified as medical devices, and are CE-IVD approved.

Our team and processes are clinically supervised by DrGreg Fitzgibbon, PhD, DipRCPath.

Our data policy

We are equally passionate about data security, and after 8 weeks we ensure your data is fully encrypted so that it is only accessible by you. You can read our privacy policy here.

Our Genetic Material policy

You can trust MyHealthChecked with your genetic material (DNA or RNA). 

We do not store or share any of your genetic information.

We discard any excess genetic material after testing.

It’s simple as that – your DNA is safe and private when you choose MyHealthChecked.

Transporting samples safely

MyHealthChecked takes safety seriously and our sample transportation procedures meet or exceed all local regulations. In the case of our COVID tests for example, your sample is preserved in a special vial, a PrimeStore® MTM (which stands for a molecular transport media) approved by Public Health England. This deactivates any virus in the transportation tube, whilst retaining the stability of the sample. It’s clever technology that creates a “snapshot in time” for your sample, preserving and stabilising DNA and RNA, and keeping postal workers safe from infection if your test contains contagions.
